Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Royal Opera House)
A full-length ballet composed by Christopher Wheeldon for the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden's Royal Opera House. The ballet is based on Lewis Carroll's famous novel about Alice, a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole one summer afternoon and embarks on an astonishing adventure. Joby Talbot composed the music, and Bob Crowley designed the set. Lauren Cuthbertson of the Royal Ballet dances Alice, and actor Simon Russell-Beale plays the Duchess in a cameo appearance.
