Kyle Cassidy, a failed musician, is head over heels in love with Nikki Duke, the vivacious wife of an abusive rock star on tour. Nikki passes out and hits her head following a wild evening at the Dukes' Hollywood Hills estate. Kyle dials 911 in a state of drug-induced terror. When two newly partnered paramedics arrive on the scene, they rouse Nikki, patch up Kyle, and then attempt to rob the duo-a plan that swiftly unravels, sending the group on a dark, humorous odyssey through the Los Angeles night.
