An Affair to Remember
Nickie Ferrante's come back to New York to wed a rich heiress is well publicized as are affairs and his antics. He meets with a nightclub singer Terry McKay who is also on her way home to her boyfriend. He and he see him and , respectively as stand offish but over several days they find that they've fallen in love. So they agree that they will meet again in a few months time atop the Empire State 25, nickie never really functioned in his entire own life. This will provide them the time to manage their existing relationships and for Nickie whether they can earn a living, to observe. He can be successful and returns to painting. On the agreed day, Nickie is waiting patiently. Fate intervenes leading to heart break and misunderstanding and their relationship can be saved by just fate.
