Electoral Dysfunction
'Electoral Dysfunction' use sarcastic comedy to demonstrate how voting works – and does not work – in the United States of America. The film, hosted by Mo Rocca (a CBS News Correspondent, a panelist on NPR's 'Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!' and a former Correspondent for 'The Daily Show,' is structured as a road trip that begins when Mo makes an eye-opening discovery: the Constitution does not guarantee the right to vote, putting America alongside Libya, Iran, and Indonesia. Mo delves into the fight against voter fraud and voter identification; looks for the Electoral College; debates ballot design with Todd Oldham; and speaks with academics and activists from across the political spectrum about why our voting system is flawed and how it can be fixed.
