The Wild Child
Away from town of Aveyron, France, there is a boy discovered in 1798. Diagnosed as impaired, he's relegated to an asylum. A doctor named Jean Itard, who specializes in ear-nose-throat physiology and the instruction of deaf mutes, becomes convinced that the boy gets mental capacity, but that his development has been hindered by insufficient touch with society. He brings the boy dwelling, names him Victor, also begins an arduous attempt at education over several decades.
