A Night to Remember
The sinking of the Titanic is presented at an extremely realistic manner within this British play that was stressed. The tragedy is portrayed largely from the sea liner's second officer, Charles Lightoller's point of view. Despite lots of warnings concerning icehockey, the boat sails on, using Capt. Edward John Smith keeping it going at a steady clip. Passengers and the crew detect they lack enough lifeboats when the boat finally hits an iceberg, and catastrophe follows.
