Astro Kid

In this fun animated adventure, Willy's explorer parents are separated from him when their spaceship gets damaged in an asteroid field. Willy is left alone on a dusty planet with only a cute robot for company. The movie, which is called Terra Willy in its native France, is full of fun little details, like a space toothbrush that turns into a knife and a flamethrower and an orange alien that looks like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. It follows Willy as he learns to adjust to his new home and the strange (and sometimes dangerous) people who live there. This junior space adventure with a really likeable main character is worth looking for. It has nice animation and a sweet story.
