Chihayafuru Part I

After Chihaya Ayase was in the 6th grade of elementary school, she met with Arata Wataya. Arata Wataya transferred from Fukui Prefecture. Taichi Mashima had been Chihaya Ayase's friend since they were modest. Arata got close to Taichi and Chihaya from the card-game karuta. Chihaya can be still a senior school student. Chihaya learns that Arata, who travelled straight back into Fukui Prefectureand karuta, doesn't play anymore. Believing they and Arata will match again, Chihaya and tai-chi starts a karuta club.
