Dad's Army

The British television series Dad's Army served as the inspiration for the feature film adaptation that was released in 1971 under the same name. It was directed by Norman Cohen and was shot in between series three and four. It was based on material from the earlier episodes of the television series and was filmed in between series three and four. The movie detailed the beginning of the Home Guard platoon's existence as well as their subsequent efforts during a drill.
