Eye Candy
Our body is the vehicle through which we experience the physical world, and it contains our most primal instincts. It's where we feel pleasure and love, where we judge and destroy, where we bleed and smile. Since David and Venus, we've placed the human body on a pedestal, creating and sustaining an unreachable beauty standard. Through this warped prism of beauty, our natural shape has been sexualized, vilified, and sometimes stigmatized to the point of being a taboo. Why is nakedness offensive? Has it any political significance? Aren't we more than what meets the eye?
