Land of Mine
At the days following the surrender of Germany in May 1945, a team of young German prisoners of war were handed over to the Danish authorities and then sent out to the westcoast, where they were arranged to take away the more than two thousand mines that the Germans had put from the sand over the shore. With their bare hands, crawling around in the sand, the boys were made to perform the dangerous job under the leadership Carl Leopold Rasmussen, of the sergeant.
