Ley Lines
The story follows a trio of Japanese young people of Chinese descent that escape their semi-rural childhood and relocate to Shinjuku, Tokyo, where they befriend a struggling Shanghai prostitute as well as fall nasty of a neighborhood criminal activity distribute. Like most of Miike's jobs, the movie takes a look at the underbelly of respectable Japanese society as well as the issues of assimilation dealt with by non-ethnically Japanese people in Japan.
