Nostalgia
The Russian poet Andrei Gorchakov, followed by guide and translator Eugenia, is currently travel through Italy researching the life of an 18th century Russian composer. In an early spa town, he also matches with the lunatic Domenico, who years earlier had imprisoned their own family to save them against the world's evils. Seeing some truth that is profound in the act of Domenico, Andrei becomes interested in him. In a collection of dreams, his ambivalent feelings for Italy along with Eugenia and his longing for his spouse, the poet nostalgia for his homeland, along with his feeling of kinship with Domenico eventually become intertwined.
