Odette
The film is based on the true story of Special Operations Executive agent Odette Sansom, a French-born agent who was arrested by the Germans in1943, sentenced to death, and sent to the Ravensbrück prison camp to be executed. Despite all chances, she survived the war and testified against the prison guards during the Ravensbrück Trials in Hamburg. In1946, she was the first woman to be awarded the George Cross, and she remains the only woman to have received it while still living. (From Wikipedia, CC-BY-SA)
