Phantom of the Opera

Pit violinist Claudin hopelessly loves rising operatic soprano Christine Dubois (as do baritone Anatole and police inspector Raoul) and covertly assists her career. However, Claudin loses both his job and his signature, murders a music writer that is rascally at a fit of insanity, and has his face etched with acidity. Soon, mysterious offenses irritate the Paris Opera House, blamed a mythical"phantom".
