She Wore a Yellow Ribbon

Everybody expects the worst after Custer and the 7th Cavalry are wiped out by Indians. Capt. Nathan Brittles is ordered out on patrol but he's also required to take along Abby Allshard, wife of the Fort's commanding officer, along with her niece, the pretty Olivia Dandridge, who are increasingly now being summoned for their own safety. Brittles is just a couple of days away from retirement and Olivia has caught the eye of two of the younger officers within the Company, Lt. Flint Cohill and second Lt. Ross Pennell. She's taken to wearing a yellow ribbon in her hair that she has a beau from the Cavalry, but neglects to state for whom she's currently wearing it.
