The House Where the Mermaid Sleeps

The Harima family consists of Kaoruko and Kazumasa Harima, a divorced couple with two children. When their daughter Mizuho starts elementary school, they intend to end their marriage and divorce. They were horrified to learn that their daughter had slipped into a coma following a near-drowning incident that occurred while she was at the pool. After being pronounced brain dead with little hope for recovery, her loved ones must decide whether to harvest her organs for donation or wait for her heart to quit beating.
