The unassuming inventor Sidney Stratton creates a lovely fabric which won't ever be worn or dirty out. Certainly he will earn a fortune selling clothes made of this material, but might make a crisis in the process. After all, once somebody buys a few of the suits they won't ever have to mend them buy another person, and the clothing industry will fall. But Sidney is made to get his invention on the market, forcing the clothes mill big-wigs to resort to more desperate measures...
