The Olive Tree
The family of alma has been producing quality olive oil at the Baix Maestrat part of the Castellón for decades of Spain. Still pressures from the industry have made their traditional techniques untenable, and the family is presently in the poultry business that was mass production. Alma's grandfather hasn't talked in years. Sadness envelopes himand he wants to eat. His sons -- Alma's father and uncle -- are somewhat unhappy with him but her grandfather is understood by Alma. She admits that he has been occupying for a olive tree which the household has uprooted and sold to pay for some debts. (A sadly common reality in Castellón at present.) Unable to put up with the idea without seeing this dreadful erroneous corrected that her grandfather could die, Alma undertakes a mission to locate the tree therefore that her grandfather may have peace in his last days, and then return it to the household orchard.
