The Ringer

Pressured by a greedy uncle (Brian Cox) and also a pile of debt, adorable loser Steve Barker (Knoxville) hotels to a unthinkable, contemptible, just-crazy-enough-to-work plot. He pretends to be mentally challenged to rig the Special Olympics that are upcoming and bring home the gold. But when Steve's fellow competitors get a good idea to the con, then they inspire him to climb to the struggle of all.
