The Sound of the Spirit
Rivka is a twelve-year-old Jewish girl who believes in Jesus. She is beautiful and precocious. She and her father are members of their community's Messianic Jewish synagogue. However, when her father dies unexpectedly, Rivka's life is irrevocably altered. She eventually settles in with her orthodox Jewish relatives and becomes a member of their synagogue. Rivka learns life lessons that stir her faith to new levels, touching the hearts of those whose lives she has reluctantly impacted, from her stormy relationship with her uncle, to a meeting with the synagogue's senior rabbi, to the attention of the synagogue's cutest boy. "The Sound of the Spirit" is the untold story of a little girl caught in the crossfire of conflicting religion communities. It is told with wit, tenderness, and elegance.
