The Straight Story

A farmer and widower in his Alvin Straight learns one day that his brother Lyle that is remote may not recover and has suffered a stroke. Alvin is determined to get things while he can, while Alvin has been stuck with no driver's permit no car at Iowa, but his brother lives in Wisconsin. Then he hits on the concept of creating the trip on his lawnmower beginning a picturesque and occasionally deeply spiritual odyssey.
