Turu, the Wacky Hen

Turu, the Wacky Hen, written in the style of a love song to differences, tells the narrative of a creature that, due to her peculiar look, becomes the target of scorn for the rest of the henhouse. Isabel, an ex-music teacher who chooses her for her uniqueness, is unfazed by her wiry legs and featherless back. Turuleca does not lay eggs because she has another hidden talent: she speaks, sings, and dances passionately. Turu, the Wacky Hen is a full-color, animated party that compels us to dance to its musical numbers and sing rhymes that have the potential to transform us back into children, if only for a brief while.
