When a City Rises
Many of Hong Kong's democratic advocates, including those in their teens and early twenties, are as diverse as any other young people in the globe. They do, however, share a desire for democracy and freedom. Even though they're legally autonomous, China has been strengthening its grip and demanding that 'troublemakers' be put in prison or silenced in the small island city, which is officially under China's control but is now enforcing its rule. We meet a 21-year-old student, a teenage couple, and a new parent in the midst of the violent riots.
