Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction is an American television anthology series that aired on the Fox network from 1997 to 2002. The series was conceived by Lynn Lehmann, and it was presented by Dick Clark Productions. Beyond Belief was shown in the United States. In each episode, there were five tales to choose from, all of which seemed to contradict logic in some way, and some of the tales were supposedly based on true occurrences that had taken place. The difficulty of determining which statements were true and which were untrue was presented to the audience. At the conclusion of the program, it was made clear to the audience members whether or not the stories they had just heard were based on actual events or were merely works of fiction. The first season of the show was hosted by James Brolin, while subsequent seasons were presented by Jonathan Frakes. Frakes took over as host for the remainder of the series. Don LaFontaine provided the narration for the show's first three seasons, while Campbell Lane did it for the show's fourth and final season.
