Birds of a Feather
Birds of a Feather is a sitcom that Has Been broadcast on BBC One from 1989 on ITV from 2013 and until 1998. Starring Lesley Joseph, Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke, it was created by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who wrote some of the episodes along side different authors.
The first episode sees when their husbands have been sent to prison for armed robbery Sharon Theodopolopodos and sisters Tracey Stubbs brought together. Moves to Tracey's high priced house in Chigwell, Essex. Their nextdoor neighbour, and friend, Dorien Green can be really just a woman who is always having affairs with men. Into Hainault the positioning is changed At the show. The show ended on Christmas Eve 1998 after a 9-year-run.
On 3 March 2009, the Mirror reported that the traditional sitcom was put for a return coverage that Linda Robson, Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph all have been asked by the team supporting the sitcom to make a second collection. Quirke was reported as saying that these were up for the challenge if the authors developed ideas that were good. Next speculation of a recurrence in early 2009 nothing has been said. Nevertheless, in July 2012 Lesley Joseph suggested that Birds of a Feather could reunite for another series after having a stage excursion.
