Bottom
Bottom is actually a British anarchic sitcom written by and starring comic duo Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson as socially embarrassing, sexually inexperienced Richie Richard, along with busty alcoholic Eddie Hitler, two societal outcasts living on the dole, trapped in a daily grind at a squalid apartment in Hammersmith, London. Frustrated, bored and perpetually skint, they spend their days bickering, , and being sadistic and nasty to each other. The series ran for three series, originally airing on BBC 2 from 1991 - 1995, and has been followed by five stage series tours throughout also a feature picture guesthouse Paradiso, and the United Kingdom between 1993 and 2003. The series is noted for humor slapstick that was barbarous and its chaotic humour.
Back in 2008, Bottom arrived at number 45 at a questionnaire to determine"Britain's Best Sitcom" by the BBC. The series continues to be shown in the UK on Dave and Gold , and has been dubbed in different languages. Back in Spain the series is referred to. The theme music has been supplied by The Bum Notes, a band that featured Edmondson, also will be now actually a cover of"yesterday" by The Mar-Keys.
Plans were created for Hooligan's Island, a BBC spin off collection, including the Richie and Eddie personalities from Bottom. However, that project has been cancelled that October prior to production as Edmondson clarified he desired to pursue different interests.
