Cosmos: Possible Worlds
Produced in the USA for National Geographic and set to air on 9 March 2020, it will be a science documentary series. A sequel to Carl Sagan's 1980 PBS series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey aired in 2014 on the National Geographic Channel. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson serves as host; Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga wrote, directed, and executive produced the show; Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark also served in those capacities. There are 13 episodes total, and they aired over the course of seven weeks. Fox aired the first episode of the show to the general public on September 22, 2020. As Braga puts it, "Possible Worlds refers to planets far, far away, but also... the future as a possible world."
