Crossroads
Crossroads is a British television soap opera set in a motel near Birmingham, England. Created by Hazel Adair and Peter Ling, the firm ITV system broadcast the show between 1964 and 1988. Manufactured by ATV and later by Central it became a byword in the 1970s and early 1980s, particularly for production values. The show has been revived in a more glossy version by Carlton Television in 2001, however, was cancelled in 2003.
The theme tune especially included in Wings Paul McCartney & on their 1975 album, and was composed by Tony Hatch Venus and Mars. Raf Ravenscroft and Max Early, composed if the show had been relaunched Kings Oak, as Crossroads A fresh version, which was aired in 1987.
