Fifth Gear

Fifth Gear is really a British motoring television magazine series. Originally shown on Channel 5 in 2002 to 2011 and Discovery because 2012, the series is currently presented by Tiff Needell, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Jason Plato and Jonny Smith. Fifth Gear's equal series is BBC Two Gear. Fifth Gear was broadcast on 8 April 2002 as a continuation of this incarnation of this BBC show Top Gear, also like 5th Gear that has been cancelled in 2001. Top Gear has been re launched. Channel 5 originally needed to carry on with the Very Best Gear name, however the BBC denied. Several of Top-gear's ex-presenters, including Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell, and Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Channel 5 to exhibit Fifth Gear. The show has been renamed as Fifth Gear in 2005. Repeats of Gear also started being broadcast on Discovery Turbo and later on UKTV channel, Dave in April 2008.
