G.B.H.
GBH was a tv movie written by Alan Bleasdale shown on Channel 4 at the summer of 1991. Even the protagonists have been the Militant Labour pioneer of a city council at the North of England Michael Murray the headmaster of a school for children, and also Jim Nelson.
The series was contentious partly because Murray seemed to be predicated on Derek Hatton, former Deputy Leader of Liverpool City Council -- at an interview at the G.B.H. DVD Bleasdale recounts a casual meeting with Hatton before the collection, who indicates he has caught end of Bleasdale's intentions but will not mind so long as the actor playing is"handsome".
In ordinary parlance, the initials"GBH" reference the offender charge of grievous bodily harm - however, the actual intent of the letters is it is supposed to stand for Great British Holiday.
