Hogan's Heroes
Hogan's Heroes is a CBS television sitcom that aired for 168 episodes from September 17, 1965, to July 4, 1971. During World War II, the show was set in a German prisoner of war camp. Colonel Robert E. Hogan, played by Bob Crane, coordinates an international team of Allied inmates leading a Special Operations group from the camp. Colonel Wilhelm Klink, the camp's commandant, was played by Werner Klemperer, and Hans Schultz, the bumbling sergeant-of-the-guard, was played by John Banner. During its six-season run, the show was extremely popular. Through arbitration, creators Bernard Fein and Albert S. Ruddy acquired the sequel and other separate rights to Hogan's Heroes from Mark Cuban in2013, and a movie based on the show is in the works.
