Holocaust
Holocaust is an American television mini series broadcast on the NBC television network in four roles in 1978. The series tells the story of the Holocaust from the perspective of the Weiss family of German Jews and this of an increasing member of the SS, that becomes a war criminal. Holocaust highlighted numerous vital events which happened around and throughout World War II, the production of ghettos, such as Kristallnacht and after, the use of gas chambers. Although the mini series won a few awards received critical acclaim, it was criticized by some, for example noted Holocaust survivor and author Elie Wiesel, who described it as"offensive and untrue "
