I Spy
I is an American television secret agent adventure series. It ran for three seasons on NBC and awakened Robert Culp Alexander Scott, because his trainer. The characters' travels as ostensible"tennis bums", Robinson playing with talented tennis being a recreational with all the wealthy in exchange for food and lodging, and Scott tagging along, provided a cover story concealing their functions as top agents to the Pentagon. Their real labour kept them busy pursuing spies, villains, and attractive women.
The powers behind the show were writers David Friedkin and Morton Fine and cinematographer Fouad Said. They formed Three F Productions beneath the aegis of Desilu Studios where the show was produced. Fine and wrote the broadcasts, and Friedkin were co-producers and head writers. Friedkin also dabbled in acting and appeared in two episodes in the early season.
Actor-producer Sheldon Leonard, famous for playing gangster roles from the 1940s and'50s, was the executive producer. He played a role in two episodes and looked in a funny cameo. Additionally, he led one episode and served through the sequence as occasional director.
