Jackass
Jackass is an American reality show that aired on MTV from 2000 to 2002 and featured people engaging in dangerous, self-injuring stunts and pranks. Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville, who had just a few brief acting parts before, used the show as a springboard for their television and acting careers. Since2002, MTV corporate sibling Paramount Pictures has produced and released three Jackass films, extending the franchise beyond its broadcast run. Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid are just a few of the spin-offs from the show. On Entertainment Weekly's "New TV Classics" list, the show was ranked #68.
