Lost in Space
Lost in Space is a science fiction television show created and produced by Irwin Allen, filmed by 20th Century Fox Television, and broadcast on CBS. The series ran for three seasons, together with 83 episodes airing between September 15, 1965, and March 6, 1968. The remaining were filmed in color, although the television season was filmed in both white and black. Back in 1998, a movie was published.
Though the initial television series concept dedicated to the Robinson family, many subsequent story lines focused primarily on Dr. Zachary Smith, played by Jonathan Harris. Written as an competent although evil would-be saboteur, Smith gradually becomes the self-centered, incompetent foil who causes most of misadventures and the battle and provides the comic relief to the series. Smith had not been from the unaired pilot and neither was the robot. A meteor storm at the unaired pilot put them off path. At the episode that was aired, accidental existence and Smith's endanger caused them to move off path so that the meteors were encountered by them. Not known light years from Earth, at this a comparatively slow rate that they wondered if these were around Mars, whilst at the aired episode, only moments of hyper-drive plus so these were lost they went in the unaired version.
