Love & War

War & love is a American television sitcom, which aired in September 21, 1992. Created by Diane English, the series starred Susan Dey as also a Chicago restaurateur, Wally Porter, along with Jay Thomas as Jack Stein, a sportswriter with whom she'd a on-again, off-again romance. After the first season, but the series was retooled and Dey was fired by the manufacturers of this series, asserting that she and Thomas had"no chemistry" together. Annie Potts replaced her since Dana Palladino, who became a love interest for Jack and bought Porter's restaurant. The season featured seconds when Jack handle the camera directly and or even Wally will break the fourth wall using it as a opportunity. This mechanic has been dropped in later phases. One episode featured a guest appearance out of Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David as themselves, they did so a"thanks" to founder Diane English for allowing a quick scene on Murphy Brown in a episode of Seinfeld where Kramer is cast as the titular character's secretary. The supporting cast of the show included Joanna Gleason, Suzie Plakson, Joel Murray, Charles Robinson and Michael Nouri. John Hancock, who had a recurring role as a judge L.A. Law with Susan Dey before, depicted bartender Ike to the first half of season one, until he died of a heart attack in late 1992. His departure was written to the string and celebrity Charlie Robinson replaced him.
