Maggie and the Ferocious Beast
Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is a Canadian animated television series based on Michael Paraskevas's and Betty's books. Maggie, a five-year-old character in the show, creates her own map of her imaginary world called Nowhere Land, which takes the characters nowhere in reality. That is what she imagines her friends to be. Friends such as mice, cows, and rabbits are also featured on the show. The show's theme song is "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast in Nowhere Land," a song written by an unknown artist. Nelvana produced Maggie and The Ferocious Beast, which was directed by Jamie Whitney and Stuart Shankly. The series premiered in 2000 and ended in 2003. Nelvana, who owned the distribution rights, distributed the show. The show was dubbed in the United Kingdom with British voice actors to replace the original American soundtrack. The show is a Teletoon Original Production that debuted on Teletoon on August26, 2000. Maggie and the Ferocious Beast aired on the American children's channel Nick Jr. from July15, 2000 to October30,2010, and has not been shown on any US station since.
