My Own Worst Enemy
My Own Worst Enemy is a 2008 NBC television drama. It began on October 13 and concluded on December 15 after 9 episodes. Universal Media Studios produced the show. Executive producers included Jason Smilovic and David Semel. The final episode ended on a cliffhanger, with no closure to the key plot lines. The series followed the lives of American secret agent Edward Albright and his cover, Henry Spivey, who was unaware of his double existence. Albright, played by Christian Slater, was implanted with a chip that allowed his managers to physically convert Albright's personality to that of his cover. However, in the pilot episode, there was a glitch that caused Albright's personalities to switch at random, disclosing his secret life to his pseudonym. Henry was subsequently thrust into Edward's high-risk existence, with no way for the two to connect other than through brief cell phone video communications. General Motors was a promotional sponsor of the show, and the new SUV model Chevrolet Traverse, as well as the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, appeared as cars for the show's characters under a product placement deal.
