Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares
Gordon Ramsay, a famous chef from Britain, is on the TV show Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The show, which won BAFTA and Emmy awards, first aired on Channel 4 in 2004. In each episode, Ramsay goes to a restaurant that isn't doing well and tries to fix the problems in just one week. In these episodes, Ramsay went back to restaurants a year or more after he helped them. In October 2009, Ramsay said that he wouldn't keep doing Kitchen Nightmares after his four-year contract was up in 2011. Instead, he would work on his other shows. Ramsay's Great British Nightmare was a one-time special that aired on Channel 4 on January 30, 2009. It was part of a two-week series called "The Great British Food Fight," which was all about food. In the show, Ramsay urged people to start going to local restaurants, especially when the economy is bad. Kitchen Nightmares, an American version of this show, started on September 19, 2007, on Fox. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares USA is the name of the show in the UK.
