Team Knight Rider
Team Knight Rider was a syndicated television series that aired between 1997 and 1998 and was based on the Knight Rider franchise. Rick Copp and David A. Goodman wrote and produced TKR, which was based on the original series created by Glen A. Larson, who also served as an executive producer. Gil Wadsworth and Scott McAboy created TKR, which was broadcast by Universal Domestic Television and aired for only one season of 22 one-hour episodes before being canceled owing to low ratings. The plot revolves around a new band of high-tech criminal fighters established by the Foundation for Law and Government to follow in the footsteps of Michael Knight and his supercar KITT. Instead of "one man making a difference," there are now five members of the team, each with their own computerized talking car. TKR goes after legendary criminals that operate "beyond the law," from spies and assassins to terrorists and drug dealers, just like the original team. Michael Knight reappeared in the final episode of the season, and the series, although only from behind.
