The Dick Van Dyke Show
The Dick Van Dyke Show is a American television sitcom that initially aired on CBS from October 3, 1961. The series was created by Carl Reiner and starred Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam and Dick Van Dyke. It based around the home and work life span of television comedy writer Rob Petrie. The series was made by Reiner by Bill Persky and Sam Denoff. The music to the theme song of the show was written by Earle Hagen.
The series won 15 Emmy awards. In 1997, the episodes"Coasttocoast Big Mouth" and"It May Look Like a Walnut" were rated in 8 and 15 respectively TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. In 2002, it had been ranked at 1-3.
