Freddy's Nightmares
Freddy's Nightmares is an horror anthology series, which aired from October 1988. Each narrative, A spin off from the Nightmare on Elm Street series was introduced by Freddy Krueger. This format is the same as that used The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt, or by Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Tobe Hooper directed the pilot episode, also begins with Freddy Krueger's acquittal of the child-murdering charges due to his officer shortage of reviewing that the Miranda warning at the time of the arrest of Freddy. A mob of parents corners Freddy at an energy plant, resulting to him acquiring his visage, dying and being torched by law enforcement officer.
New Line Television created the series. It had been distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures. However, Warner Bros.. Television will assume syndication rights.
